Who can buy on Vicago Trade?
Any business buyer can create an account, verify their identity and start ordering. Buyers can browse the marketplace without an account and sign up when they are ready to order or request a quote.
How are sellers and listings verified?
Sellers submit identification and business documents, such as a certificate of incorporation, export licence and tax clearance, which the Vicago team reviews before they can list. Every listing is also reviewed before it goes live on the marketplace.
How do payments work?
Orders are paid by Letter of Credit (L/C) or, for approved buyers, Cash Against Documents (CAD), where payment is due when Vicago sends the shipment documents and bank details. Prices are set in US dollars, and buyers in Nigeria and Canada can see and pay in naira or Canadian dollars.
How does shipping work?
Once an order is paid for or secured, Vicago arranges the shipment with the carrier. Buyers can track it from their dashboard and receive the bill of lading by email.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes. Each listing shows its available quantity and minimum order in metric tonnes (MT).
Can I request a commodity that is not listed?
Yes. Submit a Request for Quotation with the commodity, quantity, quality specification and destination port, and the Vicago trade team will reply with pricing and terms.
